Andrew HodgettsANDREW HODGETTS B.A. FCA (TECHNICAL PARTNER)

Having trained with the city office of a top 15 firm, Andrew moved on to a managerial role with a regional office of Smith & Williamson. Since moving to Herbert Parnell in 1995 he has assumed overall responsibility for the technical standards within the firm. Although initially from an audit background, Andrew has gained significant experience in working with small and medium sized businesses, and in the charity sector. He also oversees the firm’s dental clients. In more recent years Andrew has worked with many clients on the development of accounting systems and general management reporting. Throughout this time he has also acted as the Financial Controller for the UK subsidiary of a European quoted company. He is actively involved with a number of the firm’s international clients, giving him opportunities to utilise his language skills (French/German).

Adrian PeckhamADRIAN PECKHAM B.Sc FCA (MANAGING PARTNER)

Adrian trained with a top 15 firm in Guildford and Sutton. After qualification Adrian spent 10 years in Industry as a partner in a wholesale and retail business, then as Financial Director of 2 service sector businesses before returning to the profession in 1998. He acquired significant hands on experience of running businesses and acquisitions and disposals during that time. His primary client responsibility is advising owner managers of businesses, from new start-ups to multi £million turnovers. He has a particular interest in the property sector. He has internal responsibility for the smooth running of the firm. Adrian holds several directorships as part of his current workload. Married with 5 children, he would like to play more golf.

Lance RedmanLANCE REDMAN B.Sc. ACA FCCA (PARTNER)

Lance joined Herbert Parnell in 2001 from a top 10 national practice where he was an audit manager. Although he is responsible for the larger audits of both Companies and Charities, Lance enjoys getting alongside the proprietors of all sizes of businesses and giving a broad range of tax and business advice. He has acted for a number of his current clients for nearly twenty years and he aims to establish long-term business relationships wherever possible. He has extensive experience of charities and churches; looks after other more specialist assignments such as registered social landlords and solicitors accounts rules, and has acted for a number of UK subsidiaries of International groups. Lance together with Andrew Hodgetts is responsible for maintaining technical standards within the firm. Lance is married with three grown up daughters. Outside of work, he is actively involved in the life of his church, watches most of London Irish’s home games and visits Brittany as often as possible.

ALAN HODGETTS FCA (CONSULTANT)

Alan was a partner in the firm for over 20 years, having also spent time in two top 5 national practices. Alan also spent 4 years with the Inland Revenue in specialist back duty work. For many years he was the firms tax partner and he has acted successfully as an expert witness for a number of clients. He continues to perform trustee and executor duties, aswell as maintaining a portfolio of personal tax clients.

Dennis JefferyDENNIS JEFFERY ATII (TAX MANAGER)

Dennis' mission is to help both business and personal clients minimise their tax liability. Besides general tax planning, he also advises on estate planning, inheritance tax, and trusts. Dennis trained as a chartered accountant with a provincial firm in Winchester before specialising in taxation. He spent 11 years as a tax manager with a top 10 national practice prior to joining the firm in 1997.

Vince EydmannVINCE EYDMANN (MANAGER)

Vince joined the firm in 1987 having worked as a manager for a top 30 practice, and also having worked in medium sized central London practices. He has a large varied client portfolio which is now targeted on the upto £1.5m turnover range. Vince is a client relationship manager of considerable experience handling all accounting and taxation issues.

RICHARD SPENCER (MANAGER)

Richard has over 23 years service with Herbert Parnell as a client relationship manager. He has considerable experience handling all accounting and taxation issues. His portfolio includes business start ups through to management accounting for UK subsidiaries of International Companies. Richard also manages the practice's accounts.
