Charities and Churches

The charity sector is now a significant component of the UK economy. The requirements of the Charity Commission place trustees in an onerous position, particularly as many trustees are not trained for their statutory obligations.

Since 1920 Herbert Parnell have been helping Charities and Churches with their finance and reporting requirements. We understand both the legal framework and the sensitivities of working with volunteers who so often run the financial side of the organisation.

We act as either Independent Examiners or Auditors as required by the Gross Income levels. Both partners of the firm hold roles with local charities in their private capacity.
